Who we are
Counter Ritual Roasts is a founder-operated online retailer specializing in coffee and hand grinder. We launched in 2026 as part of the SecureShops network — a small family of focused, single-category stores rather than a sprawling everything-marketplace. We curate a tight selection of products from supplier partners, present them with honest specifications and pricing, and ship them to customers across the United States.
A note from our founder
Counter Ritual Roasts is run by Marco Arroyo, Founder & Editor, Counter Ritual Roasts. The idea behind SecureShops is simple: most online stores either carry far too much to vet anything properly, or hide where their products actually come from. We do the opposite — we keep each store narrow and research what we list, and tell you plainly which warehouse an item ships from and how long it will take. If something we sell doesn't hold up, we want to hear about it, and we accept eligible returns within 30 days of delivery.
How we choose products
Every item in our catalog is selected against the same criteria before it goes live:
- Supplier information — we review specifications and product options from our supplier partners before listing a product.
- Genuine demand and quality signals — we review available supplier information before adding a product, and we drop items that underperform.
- Honest, original descriptions — we rewrite every listing in our own words with accurate specs, rather than copying supplier boilerplate.
- Transparent shipping — each product page states its origin and estimated delivery window before you buy.
What you can expect
- Honest product information — titles, prices, and descriptions reflect what you will actually receive.
- Transparent shipping estimates — each product page shows its origin and its own transit window, plus its own processing time (1–4 business days, longer for items made to order). Items labeled “Ships from the US” are stocked in a US supplier warehouse; this describes where stock is held, not where they were manufactured.
- 30-day return window — if a product doesn't meet expectations, contact us within 30 days. Details on our Shipping & Returns page.
- Secure checkout — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
